Amazon streams American Gods to the heavens

27th June 2017 by StreamedTV

Amazon Prime Video hosted the most unusual screening we’ve ever seen yesterday when it streamed the entire first season of Neil Gaiman new hit show American Gods into the heavens.

The 8-hour rooftop screening was held at Tobacco Docks, London to mark the release of every episode on Amazon Prime Video.

Based on Gaiman’s book of the same name, American Gods follows Ian McShane as Mr Wednesday, the leader of Old Gods, and Ricky Whittle as Shadow Moon, Wednesday’s bodyguard, as they travel across America in a battle against the New Gods including Gillian Anderson as the God of Media.

The show is available to watch now on Amazon Prime Video and has already been commissioned for a second series.

Amazon Prime Video is free to Amazon Prime customers and is also available on a stand-alone subscription.
