Amazon’s Fire TV gets new accessibility feature

19th August 2020 by StreamedTV

Amazon has added a new accessibility feature to its Fire TV range which consolidates onscreen text into a compact banner that appears in a fixed location on the screen.

Aimed at assisting customers with a narrow field of vision, Text Banner works with the entire user interface, including Prime Video, to make it easier for these customers to enjoy movies, videos, and more.

To urn the feature on and to and customise colours, box and text size, go to Settings > Accessibility > Text Banner.
