Last month the firm scored a major coup when it became the first pay-TV operator to let customers buy HBO’s Game of Thrones and True Detective direct from their digital recorder.
It’s since added classic HBO sitcom Sex in the City and war dramas Band of Brothers and The Pacific, Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, and Gary Goetzman’s drama about three real-life U.S. Marines embroiled in the Pacific conflict of World War II.
BT TV customers can buy individual episodes and complete seasons via their of set top box, and can continue watching on the move via a dedicated tablet and smartphone app or on their laptop.
The new additions means BT’s TV service now includes access to some of the biggest hit series and comes just days before it’s expected to unveil details of its Champions League pricing and coverage.
