Humax launches new UK streamer box

25th October 2016 - Martin Hoscik

Set top box maker Humax has announced a new smart media player providing easy access to streaming services such as Netflix, YouTube and TVPlayer.

The H3 Espresso connects to the TV’s HDMI port and includes both Wi-Fi and Ethernet internet capability, meaning it can be easily used anywhere in the house or even moved between rooms.

Humax has teamed up with TVPlayer to offer a two month free trial subscription to the service, which gives access to 25 popular video-on-demand channels, including HISTORY, Lifetime, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, Discovery, Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2, and National Geographic Channel.

Owners can also connect an aerial to access Freeview channels and, if they also own a HUMAX FVP-4000T Freeview Play PVR, can stream recordings from that box.

The H3 Espresso can also view live or recorded content from the recently-launched Humax Eye HD Cloud Camera.
