BT launches multi-room service for YouView-based BT TV

BT has today launched a multi-room option for its YouView-powered TV service, allowing subscribers to add a second box to their account. ASA bans adverts for Now TV and TalkTalk over content claims

The UK’s advertising watchdog has banned adverts from TalkTalk and Now TV internet TV services over concerns that they misled potential customers about the amount of content available. YouView’s five-year funding deal is a major boost to the platform

YouView shareholders agree new 5 year funding plan

All seven shareholders in YouView, including the BBC, ITV and Channel 4, have agreed to continue funding the connected TV platform for a further 5 years.
