Star Trek: Discovery to arrive on Netflix this September

Star Trek: Discovery, the latest incarnation of Gene Roddenberry’s sci-fi franchise, will premiere on Netflix on 25th September.

The streaming service will bring the eagerly awaited series to fans around the globe outside the U.S. and Canada where it will be available on CBS All Access and Bell Media respectively.

Produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Alex Kurtzman’s Secret Hideout, Bryan Fuller’s Living Dead Guy Productions and Roddenberry Entertainment, the series has gained two episodes taking it to a 15 episode run.

Discovery stars Michelle Yeoh as Captain Philippa Georgiou and Sonequa Martin-Green as First Officer Michael Burnham and follows the crew as they fun new worlds and new lifeforms and one officer learns that to truly understand all things alien, you must first understand yourself.

Alex Kurtzman, Bryan Fuller, Heather Kadin, Gretchen J. Berg & Aaron Harberts, Akiva Goldsman, Rod Roddenberry and Trevor Roth serve as executive producers.
