STV has launched a new ad-free subscription version of its catch-up and on-demand app, allowing Scots at home and abroad to enjoy its shows without interruption.
Subscriptions to STV Player+ cost £3.99 per month and include access to the broadcaster’s biggest shows, including Coronation Street and Emmerdale, Britain’s Got Talent and I’m a Celebrity and drama boxsets including Cold Feet, plus sporting events such as the Six Nations Rugby and forthcoming 2019 Rugby World Cup.
The new service is available today on Apple’s iOS devices with support for other platforms promised “in due course.”

“Subscription viewing is growing, and the STV Player+offers our viewers even greater choice and flexibility in how they watch STV, ensuring that they can access their favourite STV shows however and whenever they want, whether at home or abroad.”
