Netflix has struck a “multi-year” deal with James Honeyborne, creator and Executive Producer of the award-winning series BBC series Blue Planet II, to produce new nature and science series.
Honeyborne’s other work includes the BAFTA-winning Big Blue Live and the Emmy-nominated series Wild New Zealand, plus Africa.
He and partner Renee Godfrey, an anthropologist who has worked on Tribe and Human Planet, Enchanted Kingdom 3D, Wild Atlantic and Wild New Zealand, will produce their Netflix productions through their company Freeborne Media Ltd.
