Amazon Freevee and Fremantle have revealed that seven more adored characters will be moving back to Ramsay Street for the return Neighbours.
Last year the show, which was axed after its UK broadcaster pulled out, was unexpectedly revived by Freevee, Amazon’s ad-supported streaming service, which will serve as its home in the UK and US.
Long-time stars Stefan Dennis, Alan Fletcher, Ryan Moloney, and Jackie Woodburne have previously been confirmed as returning for the new episodes.
Now it’s been revealed that Annie Jones (as Jane Harris), Rebekah Elmaloglou (as Terese Willis), Georgie Stone (as Mackenzie Hargreaves), and Tim Kano (as Leo Tanaka) will reprise their roles as series regulars.
Also returning in guest roles are Ian Smith (as Harold Bishop), April Rose Pengilly (as Chloe Brennan), and Melissa Bell (as Lucy Robinson).
Production is set to commence in spring, with a world premiere slated for later this year.
The series will also stream on Prime Video in Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, and South Africa, and will be available seven days after launch on Prime Video in Australia.
