Argentina’s World Cup win was streamed 7.1 million times on BBC iPlayer and BBC Sport Online.
That figure caps a tournament which set new streaming records for the BBC with more than 104.7 million streams on iPlayer and the broadcaster’s website.
BBC One saw a peak audience of 14.9 million for the final and a reach of 38.8 million on TV across the competition.
